Spilt Wine

Six years of marriage and we are just starting our journey together. Happy anniversary Audrey! I love you.

Gracie’s first trip to Disneyland was a blast. She was a real good girl, not once did she cry or ask to buy anything. The whole experience must of taken Gracie a back, because she didn't talk a whole lot during the day. I guess she was in awe of the magical land. She rode all of the rides she could at her height. The only ride that scared her was Snow White’s Scary Adventure. She rode Pirates of the Caribbean, Rockets, the Marry Go Around, Tea Cups, Dumbo, the Story Boat, Buzz Light Year, Roger Rabbit, the Haunted House, and some roller coaster in Toon Land.

The funny thing about Disneyland is that at the end of the day, all of the parents in the park begin to lose their patience at about the same time. Some of the things I over heard parents say consisted of:

“ I said get over here now!”
“Do you think money grows on trees?”
“How many times do I have to tell you no!”
“ I’ll give you something to cry about!”
"Because I said so!"
“Leave your brother alone!”
“I will take you back to the motel room and put you right to bed Mr.!”
“ We have to leave because Mickey Mouse is mad at you.”



The last one I made up, but can you imagine the long-term affects a statement like that would do to some poor kid?
