5-4-3-2-1 Happy New Year! And that’s how 2006 ends and 2007 begins. As I was watching the ball drop in New York last night, I began to wonder what was going to be in store for me in 2007. Though I have always looked forward to the New Year and I always try to make some sort of resolutions, the year always end completely different than I had expected. That’s not a bad thing; just that life is unpredictable, uncontrollable and a roller coaster of a ride. And year after year, like children at an amusement park, we line back up for another ride of life, with all of its dips, corkscrews, and loop-de-loops. Though the coming lows of 2007 are unavoidable, we endure its lows in order to enjoy its highs all the more. I pray that life in 2007 be filled with more highs than lows and that the lows we do encounter in the coming year be short-lived and lesson filled. Happy New Year!
