This is a picture from the cables of half-dome. It is not an easy climb as the picture suggests. Notice how far the ground er, rock is behind me? The cables are a 600-foot climb up to the top of half-dome. You most definitely need gloves for such a feat. I took mine off in order to take my camera off my belt and pass it to Clint who took the picture.
