"In our culture, rest is the reward for labor. The justification for sitting and relaxing is that the work is done. In this way, rest is dependent upon labor."- Tim Parsley.
This picture is one of Tim's art pieces and what Tim said about it is so very true within my life. I tend to drive Audrey crazy with my drive and obsession to complete the chores around the house. Truth be told, I just can rest until everything is complete. While some people, like Audrey want to rest after work, I want to get everything done, so that I can rest at 8:30 or 9:00 o'clock at night. Unfortunately, sometimes, I miss the good things in life because I am not resting and enjoying the moment, chores done or not.
